If she’s hungry, she’ll wake up. Count your blessings. You got a sleeper!

I have been told not to let the baby sleep longer than 4 hours by every nurse and doctor I came in contact with. I think it is a good idea to wake her up every 3 to 4 hours to feed.

Ok, my first was a great sleeper, she came home from the hospital sleeping 8 hours at night also. I was also told to wake her up every 3 to 4 hours (depended on the person) I basically told them, screw you! Why would you want to ruin a good thing? There are so many moms out there who would kill to get 8 hours of straight sleep. If she is healthy, has enough pee diapers everyday who cares? I will tell you what my daughters doctor told me…. “A baby doesnt starve quietly, when they are hungry, they will LET you know.” Enjoy your sleep!

Don’t wake her at night! :) If you are nursing and are engorged, then by all means wake her. And I would wake her during day if she hadn’t eaten in 4 hours. But by all means, get your rest and thank your lucky stars that she sleeps through the night!

I’d say if she is hungry she will wake. Don’t be surprised if this doesn’t last long and take advantage of the sleep while you can. If you are worried about her going the full 8 hours with no food and she is eating formula you could try waking her after 6 hours instead of 4.

At her age, if she is gaining weight properly, let her sleep. Babies will wake up and cry if they are hungry. Don’t wake her up to feed her anymore. Be thankful that she sleeps well.

For me my little gal was told not hrs during the question whether to wake or not to let her go for me my little one every 23 hrs.
The question whether or so id wake or not sometimes depends on what time your little one went to wake or not to wake her around midnight after hour stretches at am so is controversial ive heard doctors who say no and shed be up at pm from very healthy but.

For it let her really its worse to be fed even though she would wake when she is hungry she isnt ready for feed so dont mess up and hubby may get full nights sleep cycle.

My daughter slept 7 hours at night last week and normally sleeps 5 hours at a time since she 2 weeks old (2 weeks ago)

4 years ago they told me to wake them and now the advice is NOT to wake them. My breastmilk supply is high and I dont need to express much at night (just enough to relieve the engorgement) - my body will learn not to produce too much at night
