Any resolutions for an infant who cries in her sleep?
SleeplessinSF asked:
My four month old, until the last week, had been sleeping through the night. As of the last several nights, we have woken to her crying, but she appears to be completely asleep. The only way to sooth her seems to be to nurse her, even though I am certain her tummy is full. Any thoughts? Any remedies?

One thing i will say is try not to pick her up i knows its hard but the last thing you want is for her to get used to you picking her up because she will do it more and more.
Babies nurse for comfort too. She may be having bad dreams or a tummy ache or any of a hundred things. Just nurse her and comfort her and she will grow out of it. There is always a reason for babies to start crying even if we aren’t sure what it is, if she is telling she needs to nurse maybe she is thirsty or just needs contact even if she isn’t really awake fully.
If she seems to be asleep have you tried putting a ninny in your mouth? Could she be a bit gassy?
