try getting him on a schedule. After you give him his last bottle for the night give him a bath and try to avoid to much stimulation. read to him or sing then put him in his crib. If he crys and you are not ok with it go rock him and after he calms down try to lay him back down. just dont give up it gets better.

How about going for a walk or a ride in the car seat?
A bouncy chair with vibrations might work.
White noise, the shower, vaccuum cleaner, humidifier anything that produces white noise might help.
Try setting a routine for his bed time, bath, read story, sit in a quiet dark room and nurse him. Do this consistantly adn he will soon get tired same time everyday.

Get over it – let him cry himself to sleep. Every doctor, nanny, etc. will tell you the same thing.

you are spoiling him by holding him to much. you say you don’t want to let him cry his self to sleep. must be your first. you may have to do just that, let him cry but keep checking on him. and please talk to his Dr. it maybe as simple as having nights and days mixed up.

Why dont you put him on the bed & sorround him with pillows & cover him & then you also lie next to him & cuddle him & sing a lullaby softly & pat him gently on his butt. Make sure its just two of you in the room
